I know some of these would have been doable when I was single or younger (I taught classes at night and worked a full time office job for a long time) but now with two toddlers some of these I can't do. I love homemade bread but I don't always have time to make it! And somehow seem to assume that people struggling financially have all this extra time available to do things like make bread from scratch or find an extra job??!! And 100% a lot of the time diy ends up costing wayyyy more than just buying it in the first placeAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15472003542811829593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5441001443081204571.post-65644526726835847902021-02-02T06:27:07.636-08:002021-02-02T06:27:07.636-08:00I whole heartedly agree with all of your points. T...I whole heartedly agree with all of your points. They’re all true. Especially the “do it yourself to save money”. I always see posts like “make your own face cream to save money”, yet the ingredients like “2 oz organic raw African Shea butter straight from Western Africa” that you need to buy in order to create this money saving home made face cream costs twice as much as drug store face cream so what’s the point. I agree that most tips are not great for the average American family. I’m going to keep buying my darn white chocolate mocha latte because it makes me happy!
